Nokia 1830 PSS-32
The Alcatel-Lucent Nokia 1830 PSS-32 is part of the Nokia 1830 PSS Metro WDM product family. The Alcatel-Lucent 1830 PSS-32 is the next generation zero-touch transparent photonic network solution. A service-optimized, flexible platform delivers advanced OADM/CWDM/DWDM transport capabilities and highly scalable and versatile. The 1830 PSS supports interoffice facility/converged core transport and wavelength services such as SDH/SONET, GbE/10GbE and storage. The Alcatel-Lucent Nokia 1830 PSS-32 R1.0 supports up to 44 DWDM wavelength channels in the C-band from the standardized optical grid specified by the ITU-T G.692 recommendation. Channel spacing is 100GHz. A future release of Alcatel-Lucent Nokia 1830 PSS-32 will support 88 channels on a 50-GHz grid.
